However, seeing how Octave 3.6 is about to be released, perhaps you
should rewrite it as if Octave 3.6 had already been released?

There's an unfortunate synchronicity issue, where the README should
refer to the latest version of Octave , but you can't make a 3.6
Cygwin package until 3.6 is released.

Perhaps this README should simply say that a Cygwin package of Octave
is available, and the version-specific details should go in another
README inside the Cygwin package?

This README.Cygwin is focused on the tips, tricks and problems
someone can find building octave from source.
Just in case someone want to test the things by themselves,
or if I stop to be involved on cygwin for any reason.

People using the binary package have no need of those info,
for them I have another README.
