John,

As Phillip works on improving m-file implementations of strread, textread, and 
textscan, I'm updating my test script to document ML's behavior. Once he is 
done, I'll likely add some of these tests to the textscan m-file.

When you get around to working on textscan, let me know and I'll send you the 
final test script.
