I also find that applications that move the focus to be very annoying,
so let's not copy this by default.  If people really want this
feature, then let's make it configurable and NOT the default.

No one who has commented (and no one that I know) likes the current keyboard focus
change.  So, I doubt if making it configurable is necessary.

Ben Abbott pointed out that  both keyboard focus and visibility need to be considered.
Having plot windows visible is usually good.  But this may not make sense
when the are many plot windows on the screen.  It may be a good choice to keep the
current figure window on top but always have focus on the command window.  The
highest priority should be to stop switching priority.  It appears that everyone is opposed
to switching focus away from the command window.

Does this sound reasonable?  Are there other suggestions to consider?
