Hello,
I'm a physics student and I find Octave quite useful but it lacks good
plotting engine. I'd like to develop a new graphical backend (probably Qt
based) and maybe integrate it into some GUI frontend (there is a couple of
such frontends for Octave, maybe I should improve one of them). I'm writing
here to ask: is this idea good enough to participate in upcoming Google Summer
of Code with it?
