Yes, it will. The gnuplot backend uses popen2 to communicate with
gnuplot, so numel(ostream) == 2. AFAIK, ginput works fine under
Windows now.

Can you/someone test the function attached below on Windows?
Sorry, I won't be able to test it these days. I'm not building octave
regularly at the moment (I'm trying to catch up with the current
development code). I hope someone else will be able to test it,
but I fear I'm the only one compiling octave with MSVC...
