Bug report for Octave 2.0.13.97 configured for i386-pc-linux-gnu

After using octave for a long time, I'm not able to start it anymore.
Last time, I was using plplot to plot graphs, and did a rather hasty exit,
which I blame for the actual behaviour.
The problem is that octave seg faults. See the repeat by bit to see
the whole story.
