Update of bug #64217 (project octave):
Status: None => Need Info
_______________________________________________________
Follow-up Comment #1:
octave is a numerical programming language. it generally does not use units,
although some people have written packages and add ons that may have done so,
and others have used the symbolic package to sort of track units as variables.
However, octave itself generally has no sense of units and would have no way
to differentiate between different types of energy.
It seems we are going to need far more information than you have provided
about your problem and what exactly you are using and trying to accomplish to
possibly be able to help you.
Also, this is a bug reporting tool. if a general octave use discussion would
be more appropriate, that may be better suited to the discussion forum at
https://octave.discourse.group/
