Follow-up Comment #5, bug #61855 (project octave):

Nir your install was for Octave 6.2

The OP install was for Octave v8
And comment #2 shows an error is shown for Octave v7


Most of the warnings come from the update the "." operator is no longer
necessary. Attached is a start, did not touch golomb or rice.

For the commsimages (in /doc) there is no -*- texinfo -*- 
Is this the warning? 

Looks like both errors genqamdemod.cc and gf.cc were fixed.
Just need a new version of the package to be released.
