Follow-up Comment #65, bug #59820 (project octave): The latest change seems to have avoided the last two "direct access" warnings for reasons I won't claim to understand. I mainly made that so that packages would be able to include Octave headers on Windows. The fact that it also silences these warnings on macOS is just a "happy coincidence". (But also shows how much of a black box that still is to me...) https://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/84344af9b019 Still no change to the index vector related test failures. This report was originally about a build error with visibility flags on macOS. Octave now builds with these flags on that platform.
