Follow-up Comment #7, bug #61673 (project octave):

Oops. Wanted to edit the last message. It should have read:
"An object of that class cannot be created."

The first test was with an empty methods block. In that case, Matlab seems to
ignore the syntax error. I'm not sure if it is worth copying that specific
behavior...
