Follow-up Comment #6, bug #60574 (project octave):
@Nik: If you think there is still enough time for stabilizing these changes
before the release of Octave 7, go ahead and push to stable.
IIRC, we agreed to no longer push new features to the stable branch. We should
mainly focus on finishing features and changes that have been added during the
Octave 7 development cycle and fixing blockers. Like always, documentation
changes can also go on stable.
Additionally, bug fixes are ok to go on stable. Sometimes it is hard to draw a
line between what is a bug fix and what is a new feature. I'd lean towards the
latter in this case. But ultimately, there are no hard rules.
