Details:
I have observed that in current dev Octave (default branch, hg id
65979d33f147) the usual key shortcuts for copy and paste do not work any more.
Ctrl+C does not seem to copy the marked text from inside the command window,
nor das Ctrl+V seem to copy the text copied before somewhere else into the
Octave command window. (Pressing Ctrl+V twice puts the text string "^V" into
the command window, but that's useless.)
I observed this under Ubuntu linux. I would consider this a regression,
because under Octave 6.2.0 (also self compiled) this both works fine on the
same PC.
