Follow-up Comment #31, bug #59203 (project octave): Thanks. This is what I meant. :-) Hm. So the POI interface seems to work correctly now also for codepoints outside the BMP (different from your screenshot "After_patch#2_and-OF-windows_fixes.png". file #49940 The UNO interface seems to be broken for characters outside the BMP. There is probably not much we can do about this (apart from maybe reporting the bug upstream and wait for a fix). All currently used scripts are encoded in the BMP.
