Follow-up Comment #10, bug #58957 (project octave):

I have the fix for the crash on [0] or empty matrices.
But not for [1]..

0) I am assuming "test sparsersb" succeeds giving 

 PASSES 994 out of 994 tests

, right ?

1) Can you check whether you compiled sparsersb.cc with
 
 -DRSBOI_DETECTED_LONG_IDX=1

?

2) Can you obtain a stack trace of

  sparsersb(sparsersb([1]),"render", "crash.eps" ,1024)

crashing ?
