Details:
The Manual in Section 14.1. states that builtin variables such
as pi return:
pi = 3.1416
but they in fact return:
octave:1> pi
ans = 3.1416
or
octave:1> e
ans = 2.7183
I think that the current behavior has been true for quite
a long time, but the Manual definition might be better?
But, Matlab 2020a returns using ans = so for Matlab compatibility the current
Octave behavior is correct, but the Manual needs correction.
