Follow-up Comment #54, bug #57591 (project octave): Interesting clues. Just for fun, I'm testing the idea of short-circuiting the building of "txt" images for the documentation in this changeset (https://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/45a9dcee45db).
