Details:

The saveas function should allow to save *.ofig and *.fig files, as in
Matlab:
https://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/ref/saveas.html

I attach a patch that does so. The default format if none is specified and if
the filename doesn't have an extension is "pdf", while it is "fig" in Matlab.
I haven't changed this behavior for backward compatibility but I would vote
for changing it - it is still possible to convert a *.ofig file into *.pdf so
no information would be lost by someone surprised by the change.
