Follow-up Comment #5, bug #55623 (project octave):
I have pushed changeset
http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/6a6b5ae3d58d which implements the
context menu in the file browser for adding directories to the path (see OS).
Menus for removing directories form the path will follow.
