Follow-up Comment #10:

I attached a patch that fixes the issue for me. The height of multi-line
strings (like in listbox style uicontrols) is approximated assuming the total
height is nlines times the maximum height of individual lines.

This doesn't change the inconsistency between the size of strings rendered in
OpenGL and in Qt.
