Follow-up Comment #10, bug #56425 (project octave):
Concerning the crash with LLVM 7: four unit tests are actually crashing Octave
(the one reported below and three others).
All of them are related to testing indexing with parentheses.
Perhaps something to do with your changes to octave_jit_paren_scalar ?
