Follow-up Comment #24, bug #29768 (project octave): I agree that rsf2csf should only check that UR and TR are square and of the same dimension. Coming back to logm, I see that m==16 for the Pade' approximation. In algorithm 11.9 of the book "Function of matrices" by N. Higham there is a simple strategy to reduce m to 7 at most. This would reduce a lot the cost of Pade' approximation. Do we need a written permission to use it?
