Yes, a valuable resource. It is mentioned in the nmh README,
INSTALL, and FAQ. The FAQ lists a few other references.

mhfixmsg(1) can be used to decode base64 in messages. By default,
it transforms the message in place. The -outfile switch puts the
decoded message in a different file.
