Hi,
I recieved a patch from Loic a while back for integrating the
PicoGUI client and server into one process. It was posted
on the sourceforge patch tracker for PicoGUI but not integrated
into CVS.
I was curious whether Nel was still planning on using PicoGUI.
If you were, you might be interested in looking at the Jetstream
project:
http://jetstream.babylonia.flatirons.org
It's a game that David Trowbridge and I started. It's still in
its infancy, but it's making good progress. It uses the PicoGUI
server, linked with it as a shared library, to display its GUI
completely in OpenGL. The widget layout is built using precompiled
XML widget templates, and it's all glued together using embedded
python scripting. The main difference between the method jetstream
is using to embed picogui and the method Loic used is that this
method won't break when I finish overhauling the networking code :)
