Monotone 0.42 was released in December.

Monotone 0.42 (and 0.41) includes a number of bug fixes
on 0.40 (which is what is currently in the repository)

According to the upgrade notes it doesn't require database or workspace
migration either http://monotone.ca/UPGRADE
