Changelog: 

* ui.cc: new Lua function guess_terminal_width which just returns
  what our internal function returns as well, the terminal width
  of the current tty or a sane constant default (72)
* monotone.texi: document that new function
* std_hooks.lua: query the terminal width and subtract 2 (this is
  actually what man(1) does as well) and configure nroff's line
  length option accordingly
