ChangeLog: 

* Removed an emergency exit and added another one, this time with a
  somewhat more meaningful error message.
* Added a function get_split_points(), which tries to find points in time
  where a blob can be split to resolve the cyclic dependency. The current
  variant can only handle intra-blob dependencies (i.e. multiple commits
  with the beloved empty commit message).
* Reworked the split_blobs_at() function into a simpler split_blob_at() one,
  which has a much narrower mission: to split exactly one blob at a given
  split point (and rearrange all the necessary dependencies).
