package bug on ubuntu 16.04 LTS

I have just encountered this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/monit/+bug/1786910

It may help for authors/maintainers to comment/help. Having a major linux distro package version of monit with a prominent but can't be good for monit's reputation.
