Hi,

please check your monit configuration - if the “check system <string>” 
statement is used, then it sets a custom name which overrides the hostname, 
i.e. if for example “check system localhost” is present, the hostname will be 
“localhost”.

You can use “check system $HOST” to use the current system hostname.
