Hi,
M/Monit dashboard requires the authentication.
The direct access to Monit is controlled via the "set httpd"'s "allow" option -
you can specify either specific IP, network mask or user:password or the
combination. If the IP based access control is sufficient in your environment,
you can omit the user:password and then everybody from the given machine will
have access to monit. Another option is the certificate based authentication
(more details in monit manual).
