Hi Stephen,

I think the correct syntax is as follows

allow 192.168.40.0/255.255.255.0

replace the network address ip and subnet mask with whatever is correct for your network.

Wayne

Hi all,

I'm been tinkering with the allow command httpd server, and was hoping to use something like this

allow 192.168.40.* which would allow me to have a look at the monit programs status webpage from any computer within my network.

However i get the following error
/etc/monitrc:11: Error: erroneous network or host identifier 192.168.40.* '192.168.40.*'

Is this possible, and if so how do I do it ?

Regards,
Stephen.
