Using symlinks with Monit

Hi,

 

I use linked logs for a set of services that i run on my server.

 

the log path is ../logs/process.log which links to ../logs/2011/Dec/process.log these rotate on a monthly basis automatically and update the symlink.

 

Is there any way i can get Monit to check the size of the link target and not of the link itself?

 

This would make configuration a lot simpler as i have multiple processes using this system and dont want to be editing the config files once a month.
