Hi,monit currently doesn't support such tests. You can use the new "check program" which allows to write custom check script and let monit do the action based on its return value.Regards,MartinOn Oct 12, 2011, at 11:29 PM, Christopher Opena wrote:--Hi folks,Can Monit actually check *multiple*, non-related conditions before alerting? I couldn't find anything related to this in the documentation at http://mmonit.com/monit/documentation/monit.html.Basically, it would be super helpful if you could do something like:check system memoryif memory_usage > 80% for 5 cycles ANDcheck file do_i_care with path /etc/do_i_care.txtif match"yes"then alertAnyone know of a way to do this in Monit or have any ideas about how to hack that together if a way doesn't exist?Thanks,-C
