Hi,we don't maintain RPM packages - if the package maintainer decided to change the default config file, we cannot influence it. You will find the package maintainer in the description of RPM which you used.

I have a 4.9 version of monit running that uses /etc/monitrc for configuration settings. I download an rpm for a 4.9 version and it uses /etc/monit.conf Can someone let me know why the difference? What controls the name of the config file. I would like to change it so both versions match. Thanks, -- To unsubscribe: http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/monit-general
