Since lots of people have had great success with monit I'm sure it's
my configuration or something. I just need to explain it properly to
you guys.
I did a Capistrano deploy again and they all said execution failed again.
I logged on to the server and found the 3 processes running. I did a
sudo monit stop process_name but they would not stop. They just ended
up getting the "not monitored" status.
My stop command for one of the processes is like so (very basic, so I
don't think it's the problem, besides, it works sometimes):
stop program = "/usr/bin/pkill -9 -f backgroundrb"
