Hi,

it is fixed in cvs now ... new $DESCRIPTION macro was added for
MAIL-FORMAT, the default alert message now expands to (example):

Does not exist Service mysql

        Date:        Mon, 28 Nov 2005 17:24:05 +0100
        Action:      restart
        Host:        unicorn
        Description: 'mysql' process is not running

Your faithful employee,
monit

where the "Description:" line is the new one, using the $DESCRIPTION
macro. The description is no more added to the message bottom => it is
possible to suppress it by the standard MAIL-FORMAT  { MESSAGE: ...}
option now.
