Hmm, this is true ... maybe we should move all monit versions under some common directory (http://www.tildeslash.com/monit/dist/ ?) and provide the 'latest' link to the actual version? This can provide backward compatibility for existing packages which refer to the particular release under dist directory ...

Thanks for all your hard work! I'm happily using monit on OpenBSD and it's saving me from a lot of headaches...

I have a simple request for that would make an OpenBSD port a bit easier...is there any chance of providing a stable location for distribution archives?

Pointing an OpenBSD port to http://www.tildeslash.com/monit/dist/ breaks the port every time a new release is made because the current archive is move to ./old at release time.
