Glad to hear that you find monit useful. We have provided rpm packages
of monit before but with all the problems on GNU's savannah where
monit's CVS and files are hosted we haven't uploaded any packages
lately. The spec we use can be found here
http://savannah.gnu.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs/monit/monit/contrib/packages/redhat/
and we will certainly compare it to your spec. Thanks for the work!
