[Mldonkey-users] windows xp and large files

i have 2.5-6 (from spiralvoice) running quite happily on a windows xp pro
machine with ntfs. i have 4 large files downloading.

Recently, one of the files (3.4Gb) has finished downloading, or at least i
think it has; it reports that it has download all of the bytes and that
chunk display shows all 2's.

however, it remains on the transfer list as still transfering - only that the
Avail has gone to zero! and the Last begins to increase without ever
going back to zero. when i try to verify chunks, it complains that
Exception os_ftruncate failed.

if i restart the mldonkey core, the file claims to have zero bytes downloaded!
recover_temp doesn't seem to help :(

i also have another file at 3.2Gb, with the same problem that was cleared by
the core restart a\nd i've been downloading since; except that it claims that
i've only download 40%; however, looking at the chunk display shows that it's
all 2's also!!!

what can i do?

i've searched the list, and noted there were various references to using
linux; i don't mind moving the downloads over to a linux box, but can i keep
the temp files etc and continue from there without loosing anything?

Thanks,

Yee.
