you're right :)
now if i were a little more ocaml-literate to be able to compile this make_torrent.ml :( i couldn't find any configuration options in configure and it's not compiled by default (or with --enable-devel).

maybe you have such a tool already on your disc...see changelog:

    * New option "-split <filename>" that will split <filename> in

        files according to a .torrent file.
