I've checked the mldonkey bug-list and this seems to be a rather old one.
It seems I have the very same problem here : one torrent 3,0 G another 3,77 G. I have many failed Sha1 checks and I don't see any downloaded block above the 2G mark for these torrents.
A patch would certainly be welcomed here too ! LB
