Hard to tell. The new GUI is almost completely working. Most p2p
networks are ready, soulseek will probably be finished toady. Maybe
a binary pre-release next week :)

The HTML interface is not standardized at all. It can change a lot
from time to time. The best solution would be to use another
interface. Currently, the GUI interface has been "standardized": the
backward compatibility is now guaranteed. Unfortunately, it uses a
binary format that might be difficult to encode/decode in
Php. However, it could be possible to encode/decode in another format,
XML for example, for the same protocol. This way, all remote
controlers would use the same standardized protocol, but with
different formats.
