Unless anyone objects, I'm going to fix up and simplify SF. There's a
bunch of stuff
in there that really ought to go (and I'm embarrassed to say that I'm the
one that put it there. I found a bug that must date back to 1987 or so.)
Also, I have a question. Is there any reason to retain `SEQUENCE_3'?
It's a slight performance tweak for the interpreter, but completely
unnecessary these days. If it's ok with everyone, I'll make the Scheme
code stop generating them and we can remove the C code support
later on.
