The library dependencies would be a very welcome addition indeed, both for
Octave and other projects like Shogun and BioSig[1]. These packages would be in
the “core” MXE and added using `tools/skeleton.py`.
Octave itself (and the Octave Forge packages) would be well suited to a
plugin[2] to keep them self-contained and allow various customisations[3].
