Does
$ make build-only-<pkgname>
do what you want? I think it builds regardless of the status of the
package. Note, though, that it doesn't download (there's `make
download-<pkgname>` for that).
Hmm interesting, that seems to work indeed. I've just recompiled plotutils twice in a row now with this command (as an example). All related files (e.g. headers and usr/installed/plotutils) are updated accordingly. Thanks!
It's not in the docs on the project website though. Should it be there, or is this considered an expert, behind-the-scenes option (probably not)?
