I don't know. Maybe those were issues with GCC 4.4 which are
solved in GCC 4.5?


BTW, do you have some time to clean up the rest of OpenSSL?

(That is, replacing the find/sed action:

    find '$(1)' -type f -exec \
        $(SED) -i 's,winsock\.h,winsock2.h,g' {} \;

with a proper patch to OpenSSL and providing that patch to upstream.)
