Hi,

It appears that there is a bug in the compilation of Boost. For every
library that I want to link I get an error like:

/home/jkr/src/mingw-cross-env-2.12/usr/i686-pc-mingw32/lib/libboost_system-mt.a:
 could not read symbols: Archive has no index; run ranlib to add one

Running

"/home/jkr/src/mingw-cross-env-2.12/usr/bin/i686-pc-mingw32-ranlib 
/home/jkr/src/mingw-cross-env-2.12/usr/i686-pc-mingw32/lib/libboost*"

manually appears to solve the problem. Should this not be done in a
makefile?
