Dear Per,
Thanks for your reply.
I managed to find out about IPADDRES and OPAQUE by using MibTypeTag,
but the DisplayString in particular caused me problems. We are being
emailed a lot about the AsnOctets.toString() method, and I always tell
users they should embed MIB info in their application.
The StubBrowser is coming along nicely. I had to be a bit sneaky to
your UI, by walking the Components structure and moving a few
things around (sorry). I did intend to email you later on with the request
if you would consider changing a few private variables to protected.
I'm currently writing the code that actually generates the Java stub
text. The text generates a class that extends GetNextPdu_vec. The
structure (setup, layout etc) resembles
uk.co.westhawk.snmp.pdu.InterfaceGetNextPdu very much.
We intend to distribute this new package in our next release. It has to
be a separate module, since the license agreement of our stack if
different to Mibble's.
If you want to share ideas, that would be great. I prefer to do this
off the mailing list(s).
Cheers, Birgit
