Re: make 3.81 MinGW port and testsuite working with MSYS

I backed out my change to test_driver.pl and applied something similar
to Alessandro's patch, plus I added rationalization of CRLF in addition
to /,\.  These changes are checked in to CVS; you can get a copy and try
it out if you like.
