Hello Ben,

If you wish to subscribe to mailing lists you need to send the
subscribe request to the -request address and not the mailing list
address and not to the mailing list itself.

You recently sent messages to the address@hidden and address@hidden
mailing lists.  Instead send one message to each of the request
addresses.  The following can be cut and pasted on GNU and Unix
systems.

  echo subscribe | mailx -s request address@hidden
  echo subscribe | mailx -s request address@hidden
