Version 1.5-pre1 of clzip is ready for testing here
http://download.savannah.gnu.org/releases/lzip/clzip-1.5-pre1.tar.lz
The md5sum is:
25f83b384782393d728e2c1f968094ea clzip-1.5-pre1.tar.lz
Please, test it and report any bugs you find.
Clzip is a lossless data compressor based on the LZMA algorithm, with
very safe integrity checking and a user interface similar to the one of
gzip or bzip2.
Clzip uses the lzip file format; the files produced by clzip are fully
compatible with lzip-1.4 or newer. Clzip is in fact a C language version
of lzip, intended for embedded devices or systems lacking a C++ compiler.
The homepage is at http://www.nongnu.org/lzip/clzip.html
Changes in this version:
* Decompression time has been reduced by 1%.
* File version is now shown only if verbosity >= 4.
* Option "-n, --threads" is now accepted and ignored for
compatibility with plzip.
* "configure" now accepts options with a separate argument.
Regards,
Antonio Diaz, clzip author and maintainer.
